I'm currently learning Unity3d and C# programming. I've scripted in Java, HTML and Lua on previous games but learning C# has still been a fun and rewarding challenge. The 3 games shown on this page demonstrate how far I've come in a short space of time. They are :

  • Retro Golf - A simple crazy golf game coded entirely by myself, so it's a little buggy in places. The game is designed to use an Xbox360 pad but can be played by using a mouse to aim, 'space' to fire ball (button A), 'R' to restart when paused (buton B) and 'P' to Pause.
  • Shadowed Complex - An exercise conducted to see whether Unity could be used to replicate a popular XBLA game. I worked in a 5 man team - 2 coders, 2 artists and myself. I lead the design, planning, documentation and scripted the in game cameras, HUD elements and other mechanics/triggers.
  • 1899 - A classic vertical scrolling shoot-em-up based around War of the Worlds and done in a steam punk art style. Again, I worked in a 5 man team - 2 coders, 2 artists and myself. I lead the design, planning, documentation and scripted the in game cameras, HUD elements and AI. It only works on an X360 pad.
